Hello Everyone,

The intent of this blog is to allow for all of you to document and share your work with the rest of the seminar. Please post at least 2 images of your work per week with a small write up of your discoveries and setbacks. Notes should be recorded about the specifics of your pulp mixtures in and procedures in the following format.


Pulp Mixture and Application

Primary Paper Media:
Butcher Paper
Pulp-making Method:
1. Paper shredded with cross-shredding paper shredder
2. Soak paper in water for 30 minutes
3. Blend paper with water
4. Strain pulp with light pressure
5. Store in a sealed container

Spray Mixture:
2lb Paper Pulp
5gal water
5tbsp cmc
1tbsp blue food coloring

Formwork Components and Assembly

12" diameter latex balloons
pantyhose
nylon rope
